Python Ireland

Python Ireland is the Irish organisation representing the various chapters of Python users. We organise meet ups and events for software developers, students, academics and anyone who wants to learn the language. One of our aims is to help grow and diversify the Python community in Ireland. We also develop and foster links with other Python based communities overseas.

🎉 We are thrilled to announce PyCon Ireland 2026, taking place in the vibrant city of Dublin on Saturday 21 November 2026 at a (to be named) location in the Dublin city centre! 🗓️ We warmly invite both newcomers to the Python community and seasoned veterans to join us for this exciting event. 🐍💻

PyCon Ireland 2026 will run on Saturday, featuring multiple talk tracks and workshop tracks throughout the day. Your conference ticket grants access to all activities (see T&Cs for details) and includes a light breakfast and lunch. 🎤🍽️

Our conference will showcase a diverse range of talks and workshops tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to experts. This year we are putting a spotlight on two dedicated tracks: Python Security (secure coding, supply chain, threat modelling) and AI with Python (LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, responsible engineering). We also welcome talks on web development, data science, scientific computing, open source, education, community and more. 🌐🤖

The Call for Speakers closed on 30 August. Submissions are currently being evaluated and speakers will be notified soon.
